Sisters in the Spirit (SIS)
The Sisters In the Spirit (SIS) ministry of First Baptist Church of Live Oak exists to offer encouragement and spiritual support to the ladies of First Baptist Church along their life journeys. We desire that each woman accepts Christ as her Savior, grows deeper in her relationship with God, and that she bonds with her sisters in Christ. SIS strives to bring honor and glory to Jesus and leave footprints of faith along the way. MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers)
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.
MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries.
The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire
. . . to be the best mothers they can be.
