The mission of the student ministry of First Baptist Live Oak is to provide an environment where students discover their need for a Savior, have an opportunity to begin a personal relationship with Christ, and then consistently mature in their spiritual journey with God.

We accomplish this by offering opportunities to:
  • Connect students to other believers in Christ
  • Reach lost students for Christ
  • Anchor students to their faith in Christ
  • Value others' worth in Christ
  • Exalt Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

Sunday morning - Bible study

Students meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am on the second floor of the Johnson Building to study God's Word and find its application for their daily life. Sunday morning Bible study is great because, since classes are organized based on age and gender, students are able to develop strong friendships with other students their age and work through real-life issues they face. We use LifeWay's The Gospel Project curriculum, a study designed to point students to the good news of the gospel and equip them to live gospel-filled lives individually, in community. and on mission.

Wednesday night - CRAVE

CRAVE is our mid-week service on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30pm in the student building. Students who come to CRAVE will experience a time of worship led by our student praise band, relevant teaching from God's Word, a time to discuss and apply the message to daily life in small groups, and some creative (and sometimes outrageous) activities to initiate interaction.
