Sisters in the Spirit (SIS)

By following our Lord's calling, we will encourage, admonish, disciple, and serve one another in spiritual love and unity. Recognizing that we are God's people, called to function as the body of Christ, we will fulfill this calling by appreciating and utilizing the various abilities, talents, and spiritual gifts of all ladies involved. Our prayer is that as we fulfill our purpose in this local body of believers, the world around us will be drawn to our Savior and He will be glorified in all we do.

Women on Mission

Founded in 1888, Woman's Missionary Union is an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention that seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschoolers with missions education to become radically involved in the mission of God. Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., WMU is a nonprofit organization that offers an array of missions resources including conferences, ministry ideas and models, volunteer opportunities, curriculum for age-level organizations, leadership training, books and more.

We have many Women on Mission groups available for you to attend.

Current groups and monthly times are:

· Mary Martha: 2pm on the 3rd Monday

· Katherine Perry: 9:30 am on the 3rd Tuesday

· Bert Webb: 10:30am 3rd Tuesday

MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers)

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.

MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries.

The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire

. . . to be the best mothers they can be.
