We are excited about your interest in the Biblical Ministry Certificate with our Baptist College of Florida and First Baptist Church.  You can be assured that you will find many benefits from your diligent study.  We will be offering two classes at our location.

CRT 120 - Hermeneutics: Interpreting the Bible
Professor:  Phillip Herrington
Textbook - Grasping God's Word 2nd edition, by Scott Duvall and Daniel Hays
section 1 - meets Sundays August 22 - December 5 from 4:45 - 5:35pm
section 2 - meets Thursdays August 19 - October 7 - 6:00-7:50pm

CRT 123 - Evangelism and Discipleship in the Church
Professor:  Brent McCall
Textbook - Evangelism Handbook, by Alvin Reid
section 1 - meets Sundays August 22 - December 5 from 5:45 - 6:35pm
section 2 - meets Thursdays October 14 - December 9 from 6:00-7:50pm

*Please note that each class is offered twice.  Section 2 is not a continuation of section 1.

Please be prepared the first day of class to complete paperwork and pay the tuition and enrollment fees.  We are not handling registration beforehand in the church office this semester.  Each class carries a tuition fee of $25.  If you have already enrolled with BCF in the certificate program, there is no enrollment fee.  For those of you attended classes last semester, but did not enroll in BCF, this semester we will be requiring you to enroll ($25) and pay tuition.  You can audit the class, which means you do not receive a college credit or a grade.  However, auditing carries the same fees.  This is a BCF requirement.

The textbooks are available at Amazon.com, Christianbook.com, and other places you may buy books.  BCF also has a "virtual bookstore" that can be found through their website baptistcollege.com

Please email Brent McCall, Discipleship & Spiritual Formation Director, if you plan to register for either or both of these classes and indicate which class time you plan to attend. Since we will complete all our registration paperwork the first night, this will insure we have enough seats and a large enough classroom.
